Quaker Tapestry will be on display on Wednesdays, 10am – 4pm until 28th October 2026 at Kendal Meeting House, admission will be free to all.
With the permission of Quaker Tapestry Ltd and Quaker Tapestry Collections Trust a team of volunteers from the Local Quaker Meeting and Kendal’s community will be there to great visitors and serve as enthusiastic guides to the tapestries and Quakerism.
Volunteers look forward to welcoming visitors, including groups and encourage people to bring any embroidery, quilting, knitting or crochet etc they may wish to work on in the communal area of the exhibition.
The Northern Peace Board are running two peace workshops at Kendal Friends Meeting House this autumn. These workshops will be opened up to Quakers in neighbouring Area Meetings.
